02. Cadman’s Cottage


Head North along the waterside towards the Harbour Bridge until you see the Overseas Passenger Terminal on the right and a small cottage on the left, about 250m. Look around this cottage.
This is an old sandstone cottage that was built in 1815-1816. It was built as a barracks but John Cadman lived in it from 1827. This is a great example of a sandstone building. Also, take a look at all the sewerage pipes!
